Fuel gauge sendersG: removing and fitting
Fuel gauge senders -G-: removing and fitting

Removing
Observe safety precautions → Chapter.
Observe rules for cleanliness → Chapter.
–  Remove fuel delivery unit → Chapter.
–  Release plug connectors -1- and -2- and pull off.
–  Lift the securing flanges -3- and -4- using a screwdriver and remove the fuel level gauge sender downwards -arrow-.
Fitting
Carry out the assembly operations in reverse order to those described for the disassembly, taking the following into account:
–  Fit fuel gauge sender into the guides on fuel delivery unit and press upwards until it clicks into place.
–  Connect the connectors and ensure that they clip in securely.
–  Fuel delivery unit: Installing → Chapter.
