| When the engine is hot, the refrigeration system is under pressure. Before beginning repairs, the pressure must be lowered, if necessary. |

| The hose connections are secured with iron clamps. When a repair is necessary, use only this type of clamp. |

| The pliers -V.A.G. 1921- are recommended to assemble the steel strip clamps. |
| Carry out a water-tightness test of the refrigeration system with the -V.A.G. 1274- and 1274/3 equipment. |
