Disassemble and assemble the cylinder block, crankshaft, steering wheel motor/drive disc > < Check the tensor roller of the toothed belt

Check procedure
The motor must be lowered a bit by the following procedure in order to disassemble the transmission pulley from the crankshaft:
   
–  Install the pickup device -U-30035- as appears in the illustration.
–  Lightly pretense the motor. Later, disassemble the motor support.
–  Lower the motor a little.
–  Disassemble the ribbed trapezoidal belt → Chapter.
–  Disassemble the transmission pulley and the upper and lower parts of the toothed belt protection.
–  Now turn the crankshaft twice in the engine rotation direction until it is again located in the upper neutral position of cylinder 1.

–  Remember the position of the display located on the roller tensor -arrow-. Strongly tighten the toothed belt with the thumb. The display should move.
–  Remove the weight from the toothed belt.
–  Turn the crankshaft twice in the engine rotation direction.
–  Next, check the position of the display. It should be in its starting position.
If the display does not return to its starting position:
–  Replace the roller tensor.
If the roller tensor is correct:
–  Assemble the transmission pulley, as well as the upper and lower parts of the toothed belt protection again.
–  Assemble the motor support again with new bolts, to the right → Chapter.
–  Assemble the ribbed trapezoidal belt and the protection again.
  Note!
When the ribbed trapezoidal belt is assembled, it must be well-adjusted in the transmission pulleys.
