| The hose connections are secured with steel strip or fastening clamps. |

| The fastening clamps must always be replace by steel strip or screw-thread clamps. |

| The fuel hoses next to the engine must be secured only with steel strip clamps. Fastening or screw-thread clamps should not be used. |

| The pliers -V.A.G. 1921- are recommended to assemble the steel strip clamps. |
| Disassemble and assemble the fuel tank together with its rear assembly components and the filter → Chapter. |
| Disassemble and assemble the accelerator pedal → Fig. |
| Repair the installation parts from the active carbon tank → Chapter. |
