Tightening torques > < Test sequence
Checking coupling drive tensioning roller:
Checking coupling drive tensioning roller:
   
–  Note the position of the tensioning roller indicator -1-. Press the toothed belt firmly with thumb -arrow-. The indicator should move.
–  Release tension on toothed belt.
–  Turn crankshaft twice in direction of engine rotation.
–  Then check the position of the indicator. It should have returned to its original position.
If tensioning roller does not return to initial position:
–  Replace tensioning roller.
If both tensioning rollers are OK:
–  Install lower toothed belt guard.
–  Refit crankshaft belt pulley. When doing this note the following:
t  The pulley and toothed belt sprocket securing bolt must be renewed.
t  When installing the pulley observe the fixing arrangement to toothed belt sprocket.
t  Tightening procedure for new oiled bolt: tighten to 90 Nm + continue tightening 1/4 turn (90°)
–  Fit console on cylinder head.
–  Install engine mounting.
