Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Cooling spray (standard)
Test the regulating flap
–  Remove the air filter → Fig.
   
–  Check the position of the regulating flap -1-.
t  Above +23 °C, the flap should close the hot air intake.
t  Below +10 °C, the flap opens the hot air intake.
  Note!
The functioning of the heater element can be tested by applying standard cooling spray, for which the intake air lines must be removed → Chapter, Air filter: disassembly and assembly.
