Instructions regarding the clutch
–  “DSG” clutches are always made up of at least two multi-disc assemblies, and for this reason are more precisely referred to as “multiple clutches”. The exterior multi disk is larger and is called "K 1" (clutch one). The "K 1" intervenes for the reverse gear as well as for gears ‘1st, ‘3rd and ‘5th. The interior multiple clutch, smaller, called "K 2" (clutch 2) intervenes for the gears ‘2nd, ‘4th and ‘6th.
–  Multi-disc clutch fitting work requires special care. All of the component have been finely tuned together during manufacture.
–  If the relative position of the components is changed, then tuning faults will occur in the multi-disc clutch, with a resulting loss in dynamic and static vehicle comfort.
