Individual horn: Removing and installing

Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrenches -SAT 8010-
Removing:
–  Switch off ignition and all electr. loads.
–  Remove the bolt which attaches the left ventilation grille, and release it from the housing of front bumper trim.

–  Remove the attachment bolt -arrow- of the horn-1-.

–  Release the connector -1- in the -direction of the arrow- and separate the connector from the horn.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:

When installing, take care that the horns do not touch the vehicle frame or any other part. If not, the sound is muted and, therefore, the function of the warning.
–  Tighten all the securing bolts and nuts to the correct tightening torque. → Chapter
