Start/stop operation switch -E693-: removing and installing
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Lever -U 30800-
  Note
When the system is turned off using the button for Start-Stop Operation -E693-, the control lamp for Start-Stop Operation lights up yellow in the dash panel → Chapter.
Removing
  W00-2169
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.
–  Using the lever -U 30800-, apply pressure to the -arrows- to overrun the pressure of the retaining lugs of the button for Start-Stop Operation -E693--1-.
  E96-10163
–  Remove the button for Start-Stop Operation -E693--1-:
–  Press the retaining lugs for the connector -1- in the -direction of the arrow-.
–  Pull out the plug -1-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence.
