Indicator bulb: replace
Indicator bulb: replace
  WARNING
High voltage! Danger to life!
Safety precautions when handling gas discharge bulbs → Electrical system; General information; Rep. gr.94.
Removal:
   
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and take out ignition key.
–  Switch off ignition and remove key. Move light switch to position „0“.
–  Unscrew bolts -arrows-.
–  Disengage solenoid valve 1 for the active carbon vessel -N80--item 1- on the air duct.
–  Remove air duct -2-.

–  Remove housing cover -A- in direction of -arrow-.

–  Remove headlight → Chapter.
–  Turn bulb socket -1- counterclockwise -arrow- and pull out of housing -arrow-
–  Unscrew the bulb from the holder.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order, noting the following:
–  Insert new bulb in housing; do not touch glass part of bulb with bare hands.
–  Secure housing cover.
