Tailgate bulb holder: Removing and installing
Tailgate bulb holder: Removing and installing
Removal:
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and take out ignition key.
   
–  Turn light switch to „0“ position.

–  Remove interior trim -1- using the lever -U30800-.
–  Unplug connector -2-.
–  Press the retainer tabs -arrows- inwards.

–  Remove the bulb holder -1- from the housing.
–  Remove bulbs from bulb holder -4-.
t  Take out the lamp-1- for the flashing light.
t  Take out the lamp-2- for the flashing light.
t  Take out the lamp-3- for the reversing light.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order, noting the following:
–  Fit new bulbs in bulb holder; do not touch the glass part of the bulb with bare hands.
