Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrenches -SAT 8010-
Removing:
–  Disconnect battery → Chapter.
–  Removing the sound insulation → Body, exterior fitting work; Rep. Gr.50.

–  Unscrew the nut -1- of the lower bolt on the starter motor -2-.
–  Remove support -3-.
–  Remove bolt -2- securing the lower part of the starter motor.
–  Remove the battery support → Chapter

–  Release and detach the connection -1- on terminal 50.
–  Remove star head screw -2-.

–  Unscrew the securing nut -1- and remove the cable -2- from the magnetic switch of terminal 30.
–  Unscrew the nut -3- of the upper bolt on the starter motor.
–  Remove the earth cable -4- and the upper securing bolt of the rear starter motor.
–  Remove the starter motor pulling upwards.
Fitting:
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:
–  Tighten the fastening bolts or nuts to the torques shown → Chapter .
–  Connect battery → Chapter.
