Fuse box: removing and fitting
Removal:
   
–  Disconnect battery . → Chapter
–  Remove storage compartment (driver side) → Rep. gr.68.
–  Unscrew bolts -1- for fuse holder -2-.
–  Release top and bottom retaining clips and detach fuse holder from central tube for dash panel.
–  Remove the wiring harness on the central pipe and put to the side.

–  Cut open the cable tie -1-.
–  Release cover for fuse holder -arrows-.
–  Remove fuses from fuse holder.

–  Detach retaining strip for connectors -arrows- and take connectors out of fuse holder.
–  Clip out the base -1-.
  Note
Exact assignment of contacts in fuse holder can be found in applicable circuit diagram → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order, noting the following:
–  Fit the shelf compartment on the driver's side → Rep. gr.68.
–  Connect battery. Fault rectification:
t  Battery in engine compartment → Anchor
