Removing
  Caution
Disconnect the battery earth strap before carrying out any work on the electrical system → Chapter.
–  Disconnect battery → Chapter.

–  Remove the relay cover -1- from instrument panel with the lever -U 30800-.
–  Remove the drivers side footwell covering → Bodywork, interior fitting work; Rep. gr.68

–  Remove the two securing screws -2-and at the same time, press the fuseholder in -1- to extract it.
–  Remove all fuses.

–  Press tabs -2- in the direction of the -arrows- and remove cover -1- in the direction of the -arrow A-.

–  Use a flat screwdriver to remove the locking catches -1- in the direction of the -arrow-.

–  Remove the contacts from the cables using the cable repair kit -VAS 1978B- or terminal extractor set -SAT 2100A-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal operation.
