Caution During the charge operation the battery type must always be selected 2.4 V/Z (volts / battery cell). This applies for all batteries. |

Note The battery must have a temperature of at least 10 °C. |
WARNING The batteries whose magic eye a clear yellow or clear colour should not be tested nor charged. Do not perform an auxillary start. |
The risk of explosion exists upon testing and charging or performing an auxillary start. |
These batteries must be renewed. |

| Turn off the ignition and all electricity consumers. |

| Check the battery type selection on the battery types switch → Chapter. The switch must be set to 2.4 V/Z (volts / battery cell). |

| Connect the red charge clamp „+“ of the charger to the positive pole of the battery. |
Note On vehicles with Start / Stop function and battery monitor control unit -J367-, the black charging terminal „-“ must be connected to the body earthing. Connecting it to battery negative terminal will cause start/stop system to malfunction. |

| Connect the black charge terminal „-“ of the charger to the negative pole of the battery. |
