WARNING | The batteries whose magic eye a clear yellow or clear colour should not be tested nor charged. Do not perform an auxillary start. |
| The risk of explosion exists upon testing and charging or performing an auxillary start. |
| These batteries must be renewed. |

| Turn off the ignition and all electricity consumers. |
| –
| On batteries that are equipped with a colour indicator, check the latter → Chapter. |

| Connect the red terminal „+“ of the tester to the positive pole. |
| –
| Connect the black terminal „-“ of the tester to the negative pole. |
Note | Ensure the perfect connection of the tester terminal clamps. |

| Select one of the following functions: |

| Warranty test for batteries during the warranty period → Chapter |
| t
| Maintenance test (only with new vehicles before registering in the maintenance programme for vehicles stopped for a period of time and stock vehicles → Chapter) |
| t
| Service test for batteries outside the guarantee period and other brand batteries → Chapter. |

| The test lasts about 10 seconds. |

| The results of the test are printed . |

| It is not necessary for the tester to cool down before performing the next test. |
