Initiating immobilizer self-diagnosis
Initiating immobilizer self-diagnosis
–  Connect either the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system -VAS 5051A- or the vehicle diagnosis and service information system -VAS 5052- → Anchor.
   
Indicated on display:
–  Press “vehicle self-diagnosis” key on the display -arrow-.

–  Press “25 - Immobilizer” key on display -arrow-.

Indicated on display:
The control unit identification and the code are displayed.
t  Selected address word.
t  Control unit part no.
t  System designation (IMMO), version number.
t  Code number → Note.
t  Dealership number → Note.
1)  Depending on engine, gearbox and optional equipment.
2)  Will be automatically stored in the control unit when entering the system.
The display also shows the 17-digit chassis number (WVW....) -2- and the 14-digit identification number (VW....) -3-.
–  Press the arrow key -1- in the display.
