Removing:
–  Remove driver's airbag assembly. → Bodywork, interior fitting work; Rep. gr.69
   
–  Disconnect electrical connection -1 Airbag- by pressing the mount upwards.
–  Disconnect electrical connection -2 Operating element- from the unit. Take special care that the mount does not break. Remove the band from its mount.

–  Remove the fastening collar. For this purpose, push on the circumference until it can be removed.

–  Press the button in the direction of the -arrow- using the tool U-30800 until it can be removed from its mount on the steering wheel.
–  Turn button over.
–  Disconnect electric connector -1- of the line to the Tiptronic switch on the multi-function button.
–  Unscrew the fixing bolts -2- of the „DSG“ button and remove the electric connector through the mount -arrow-.
–  Remove the „DSG“ operating element. Remove both retaining tags from the mount on the steering wheel.
