| Use shielded cable between the transmitter/receiver unit and the aerial. The shielded cable should be connected with an earthing connection to the unit itself and to the earthing. |
| Check the system again to ensure it is properly connected, and that the cable at the base of the aerial stays securely earthed to the body of the vehicle. |
| The transmitter equipment must be calibrated to prevent interference with the aerial cable. To be sure, perform an output test to check and to match the system. |
