Electronic anti-theft security system |
The radio/navigation system has an anti-theft security system. |
If the electronic anti-theft function is activated, the front right red LED blinks when the unit is off and the ignition disconnected. |
After the radio/navigation system is turned on the LED lights off and the system is ready to function. |
The anti-theft security system is activated and blocks the system if |
t
| the voltage supply (terminal 30) drops below a predetermined value |
t
| the fuse for the radio/navigation system is blown |
t
| the battery is disconnected (terminal 30) in order to perform any work on the vehicle |
t
| the radio and navigation system is separated from the voltage supply (terminal 30) (e.g. to remove the radio navigation system) |
t
| another instrument panel insert is installed |
The indication “SAFE” which appears on the display while the unit is connected shows that the radio/navigation system is blocked. |
