Headlight adjustment: Countries with left-hand drive traffic for driving in countries with right-hand drive traffic

t  In countries where vehicles are driven on the opposite side of the road to the vehicle's normal environment, both headlights must be partially masked by appropriately shaped opaque adhesive strips to prevent oncoming traffic from being dazzled by the asymmetric dipped beams.
t  With the goal of adjusting the lights of a vehicle that drives on the right side of the road (left-hand drive) for driving on the left side of the road or for the lights of a vehicle that drives on the left side of the road (right-hand drive) for driving on the right side of the road, we have adhesive films that can be cut out and stuck on the headlight glass → Spare parts catalogue.
  Note
t  With adhesive → spare parts catalogue, path:

t  Download the adhesive film, Mii
t  Print out appropriate file to obtain adhesive film E.1/1.
t  Cut out adhesive film around circumference. This serves for positioning the masked area on the headlight.
t  Cut out masking area marked on adhesive foil and then glue to headlight.
  Caution
Risk of damage to the plastic.
If using solvent-based cleaners, the plastic lens of the headlight could become damaged.
To remove any adhesive residue on the plastic headlight lenses, use only alcohol-based cleaning agents or those with a diluted alcohol mix (isopropanol).
Headlight, left-hand side:
   
–  Clean the headlight glass and allow to dry.
–  When positioning the adhesive film, use the continuous line on the headlight glass -1- as a reference.
–  After positioning, remove transparent area leaving only the covered area on the glass.
Headlight, right-hand side:

–  Clean the headlight glass and allow to dry.
–  Position the adhesive film. In doing so, use the continuous line of the headlight glass -1- and the end of the headlight glass -2- as a reference point.
–  After positioning, remove transparent area leaving only the covered area on the glass.
