Left headlight range control motorV48 or right headlight range control motorV49 Removing and installing
Left headlight range control motor -V48- or right headlight range control motor -V49- Removing and installing
  Note
t  In the figures, the replacement of the left headlight range control motor -V48- of the left headlight is displayed. Replacement of the right headlight range control motor -V49- of the right headlight is carried out respectively.
t  The headlight does not have to be removed.
Removal:
   
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical loads, and pull out ignition key.

–  Unplug electrical connector -4- of the left headlight range control motor -V48-.

–  Turn the left headlight range control motor -V48--4- to the left and remove from the anchoring of the headlight housing in the direction of the -arrow-.
–  Tip the ball head -1- in the guide -2- and remove it over the end of the guide -see magnifying glass view-.
Installation
  E94-10454
Install in the same way but in reverse order of removal. When doing this, note the following:
–  Insert the ball head -1- over the end of the guide -2-, see -see magnifying glass view-. The guide -2- can be moved via the bulb for dipped / main beam for easier insertion.
  Note
After each removal of the left headlight range control motor -V49- or the right headlight range control motor -V48-, the headlight must be adjusted in all cases → Chapter.
