Tail light: Removing and installing

Note

The illustrations show removal and installation for the left side. The removal of the right side is basically a mirror image.

Removing:

–	Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers, and remove ignition key.

–	Remove the covers -1- of the luggage compartment trim.

–	Loosen the securing nut -1- and remove the rear light.

–	Remove the latch -arrow- of the plug connection -2- and take off.

Installing:

Installation is carried out in reverse sequence; note the following:

–	Fit connector and engage securely.

–	When installation is complete, check gap/shut lines to body and function of tail light.
