1.

Connect suitable tubes to the ports of the Thermo Vacuum Valve, Figs. 4 and 5.

2.

Immerse the valve in cool water, below 57 deg.F., for several minutes.

3.

Gently blow compressed air into the valve to ensure that the valve is open.

4.

Heat the water to approx. 68 deg. F., with the valve still immersed.

5.

Gently blow compressed air into the valve to ensure that it is closed.

6.

If the valve fails either test, replace with a new valve.
