If a customer is experiencing difficulty with the "Locking Style" wheelcovers, be advised that a Special Tool has been developed to provide an easier
method of wheelcover removal and re-installation.
Dealers who have customers with 1995 & 1996 Model Year Impreza models with "Locking Style" wheelcovers will need to order the special tool using
Part Number E3810FS140 which is being offered free of charge to the customer, through normal parts channels.
Starting Jan 1, 1996, any 1996 Model Year vehicle that is equipped with "The Locking Style" wheelcovers will have the special tool placed in the
vehicle tool kit.
The following Impreza vehicles are equipped with "Locking Style wheelcovers:
