Front Door Latch and Door Lock Actuator Assembly

REMOVAL

1. Raise the front door glass to the top position.
2. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
3. Remove the front door trim.
4. Remove the sealing cover.
5. Remove a part of the glass run rubber (A).

6. Remove the rear sash.
7. Remove the rod from the rod clamp of the outer handle.
8. Disconnect the connector.
9. Remove the 3 screws, and then remove the front door latch and door lock actuator assembly.

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Tightening torque: N.m (kgf.m, ft.lb)

T1: 6.5 (0.66, 4.8)

T2: 7.5 (0.76, 5.5)

T3: 18 (1.8, 13.3)

NOTE:  Make sure the lock works correctly after installation.
