With the regulator assembly laying flat, pull up on the spring scale so the cable lifts off of the slide rail approximately 1/4". Record the amount of
force measured by the spring scale and compare it to the specified initial tension of 5.5 lbs. See Figure 9.

To adjust the cable tension to the proper specification loosen the locking nut on the electric motor winder bracket and turn the adjuster nut
clockwise to relieve tension and counter clockwise to increase it. See Figure 10.
