Step 7) Remove the two outer nuts on the meter bracket of the steering column. See Figure 2.
Step 8) Remove the dash unit by lifting up and out.

Note:

Carefully remove the wiring.

Step 9) Install the new dash unit in the reverse order of removal.

If the original odometer unit is not being transferred to the replacement dash unit, it will be necessary to affix an odometer label. Please refer to
Service Bulletin 01-102-86, dated 11-24-86 for further details.
