SUBJECT:

PANASONIC 80 WATT ETR AND CLARION ACCESSORY CD PLAYER (SOA333E160) INSTALLATION UPDATE

During the CD player installation perform the following:

-

Unplug the antenna connector which connects the radio antenna cable to the vehicle antenna cable located on the left hand side of the console
below the edge of the carpet.

-

Carefully remove the antenna extension cable from back of the radio and remove it from the console. Discard this antenna extension cable.

Replace the Panasonic radio antenna cable using antenna extension lead Part Number SOA333D387.

CAUTION:

Failure to replace the Panasonic 80 Watt ETR antenna cable when combining a Clarion CD player will cause poor radio reception because the 90~ plug
on the antenna cable can be dislodged and will not make proper contact.
