Camshaft: Service and Repair

Camshaft

REMOVAL

2. CAMSHAFT LH

RELATED PARTS
a. Remove timing belt, camshaft sprockets and related parts. (Refer to  Timing Belt).  See: Timing Components/Timing Belt/Service and

Repair

b. Remove valve rocker ASSY. (Refer to Valve Rocker ASSY).  See: Rocker Arm Assembly/Service and Repair

(1) Remove cam-angle sensor.
(2) Remove oil level gauge guide attaching bolt.
(3) Remove camshaft support LH.
(4) Remove 0-ring.
(5) Remove camshaft LH.
(6) Remove oil seal.

Do not remove oil seal unless necessary.

3. CAMSHAFT RH

(1) Remove camshaft support RH.
(2) Remove O-ring.
(3) Remove camshaft.
(4) Remove oil seal.

Do not remove oil seal unless necessary.
