CHECK BYPASS AIR VALVE POWER VOLTAGE (AUTO. TRANS. ONLY)

With ignition "ON," measure voltage between air valve connector terminal (E9)2 and ground.  It should read 10V minimum.

CHECK BYPASS AIR VALVE

Disconnect air valve connector and measure resistance between valve terminals as follows:

Terminal:

Resistance:

1-2

9 Ohms

2-3

9 Ohms

CHECK ECU VOLTAGE

With ignition "ON," measure voltage between ECU connector terminals and ground as follows:

Connector & terminal:

Voltage:

(F47)2-Ground

7V

(F47)1-Ground

6V

CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ECU AND AIR VALVE

1.

Disconnect ECU and air control valve connectors.

2.

Measure resistance between ECU and air control valve connectors and ground as follows:

Connector & terminal:

Resistance:

(F47)2-(E9)1

0 Ohms

(F47)1-(E9)3

0 Ohms

(E9)1-Ground
