Ignition Switch: Description and Operation
Ignition Switch (START)
PURPOSE
The starter switch signal tells the ECU the engine is being started. The ECU uses this signal to determine proper fuel and timing configurations.
LOCATION
The starter switch is built into the ignition switch in the steering column.
