Transmission Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Speed Sensor 1
1.
Disconnect electrical connector.
2.
Connect a volt meter between terminals.
3.
Drive vehicle at 6 mph (10 km/h) and observe voltage. Meter should read approximately 1 V.
4.
With vehicle stopped, measure resistance between terminals. It should be 500 ohms.
