Crankshaft Pulley and Cover Modification
INTRODUCTION
This Service Bulletin is to inform of a modification made to the crankshaft pulley and cover. The holes in the crankshaft pulley that accommodate the
crankshaft pulley wrench ST (Special Tool) 499977100 have been slotted. If the old style pulley cover (PN 12362AA001) is installed on the new style
crankshaft pulley (PN 12305AA290), the ST (Special Tool) crankshaft pulley wrench could damage the pulley cover when the tool is used.
PRODUCTION LINE CHANGES
The new style crankshaft pulley and cover was used in production starting February 2002, with engine number 073827
