Solar Sensor: Description and Operation

SUNLOAD SENSOR

A photodiode is used in the sunload sensor. The photodiode detects changes in the sunbeam intensity and converts the results into current signals to send
to the ECM.
The sunload sensor is built into the front defroster grille.
