Evaporative Check Valve: Service and Repair

1.

Fold down rear back seat, then turn up floor mat.

2.

Remove fuel tank access cover, then disconnect fuel pump connector.

3.

To release fuel pressure, start engine and allow to run until it stalls.

4.

After engine stalls, crank for five more seconds.

5.

Turn ignition to Off position, then disconnect hoses.

6.

Using replacer tool No. 42911PA000, remove fuel tank cap.

7.

Remove fuel pump from tank.

8.

Remove fuel cut valve.

9.

Reverse procedure to install.
