PANASONIC ETR RADIO AND CLARION E.Q. CASSETTE DECK INCOMPATIBILITY
If you encounter a situation where the radio and cassette player will not operate through the audio circuitry, the following conditions may be the cause:

Dash lights are illuminated and the dash light dimming slide switch is adjusted below the halfway position to more dim.

Radio is "ON".

A cassette is inserted.
Install Adaptor SOA333E3O4 according to Service Bulletin 15-45-87, dated 08- 17-87 and confirm audio operation during the conditions listed above.
