INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET INSTALIATION
Intake manifold gaskets on Subaru engines must be installed without sealants of any kind.
Use of any type of sealant on these gaskets may cause premature failure. When installing intake manifold gaskets, make sure that the manifold and
cylinder head surfaces are clean and that the bolts are torqued properly. Refer to the applicable Service Manual for specifications.
