Catalytic Converter: Description and Operation
The three way catalytic converters are provided in the exhaust system (exhaust pipe). The function of the catalyst is to reduce the emission of CO, HC
and NOx in the exhaust gas by oxidizing or converting them into CO2, H20 and N2 respectively.
