Ball Joint: Testing and Inspection
1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Grasp tire at top and bottom.
3. Shake tire in a side to side motion and check for any ball joint movement. Replace ball joint if there is any movement.
4. Check ball stud and ball joint dust cover for damage. Replace ball joint if any damage is present.
