Grand Vitara 4WD L4-2.4L (2009)
CAUTION: Proper operation of forward-sensor requires that sensor is rigidly attached to specified position.
1. Check that none of the following faulty conditions exists.

Bend, deformity or rust of front panel.

Foreign matter on mating surface of sensor.
2. Install forward-sensor (1) aligning its locating pin (2) with fitting hole (3) of bracket, and tighten mounting bolt (4) to specified torque.
Tightening torque
Forward-sensor mounting bolt (a): 11 N.m (1.1 Kg-m, 8.0 lbf-ft)
3. Connect forward-sensor connector securely as follows.
a. Connect connector with unlocked lock button (1).
b. Lock connector with lock button (1).
