Contact Coil Cable Assembly Removal and Installation 

Reference: Steering Wheel and Column Components

CAUTION:

Do not turn the contact coil cable assembly more than allowable number of turns (about two and a half turns from the center position
clockwise or counterclockwise respectively) with steering wheel removed, or coil will break. 

Removal 

1) Remove steering wheel from steering column.
2) Remove steering column upper cover (1) and column hole blind holder (2).

3) Remove tapping screws (1) and screw (2). Detach steering column lower cover (3).
