Back Window Glass Removal And Installation

Preparation, removal and installation procedure are basically the same as Windshield Removal and Installation, however note the following points.

Be careful not damage to connectors during removal and installation.

Apply adhesive (1) as shown in figure.

Locate two glass upper fasteners (female) (5) so that they will fit with male fasteners when attaching glass.

Adhesive amount and application area on back window
Height of adhesive "a": Approx. 13.0 mm (0.51 in.)
Width of adhesive "b": Approx. 6.0 mm (0.24 in.)
Width of primer "c": Approx. 17.0 mm (0.67 in.)
Application area "d": Approx. 4.9 mm (0.19 in.), "e": Approx. 3.3 mm (0.13 in.), "f": Approx. 8.5 mm (0.33 in.)
