The convertible top has been modified to improve its appearance and ease of removal and
installation. Tension Bands and Bow Location Snaps have been added to the rear window area.
The modification has been made to both standard and deluxe models starting with VIN
JS3JC51C-H4164410 or JS4JC51C-H4164300.
The modified top will fit all 1986 and 1987 Samurai's, however, vehicles having VIN's before those referenced above, must have a fitting set and new
top bow installed before the modified top can be attached properly. The parts for the conversion are as follows.
