This bulletin is to inform you of the elimination of the master cylinder gasket as of April 1989 production.

CAUTION IN SERVICING:

Regardless of whether the master cylinder is mounted with or without the gasket, the piston rod should be adjusted to have no clearance [0 mm (0 in.)] as
shown in the illustration. For details of adjustment, refer to the Brake section of the Service Manual "BRAKE BOOSTER INSPECTION

AND ADJUSTMENT".
