Shift Cable: Service and Repair
1.
Remove console box. To remove rear clips, push in center pin first.
2.
Remove four bolts and raise manual selector assembly.
3.
Remove cable and clip, washer, outer cable E-ring, then disconnect cable from selector.
4.
Raise and support vehicle.
5.
Remove lock nut from cable end at transmission.
6.
Pull down manual select lever and disconnect cable and lever.
7.
Remove cable taking out E-ring.
8.
Reverse procedure to install, adjusting cable as outlined under ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES/SELECT CABLE.
