Sidekick 2WD L4-1590cc 1.6L SOHC 0 TBI 8V (1992)
This bulletin is to inform you of the modification of the torque stopper bushing, located at the rear underside of the transmission. The new style bushing
no longer requires an aluminum housing for a carrier as the bushing and mounting bracket are a one-piece unit. See illustration for comparison. This
modification in the CANADIAN production models has been carried out since June 1992 production.
SERVICING
If you are installing the EARLY TYPE bushing, follow the procedures in the 7A MANUAL TRANSMISSION section, labeled "ENGINE REAR
MOUNTING" to press new bushing into housing.
