Thermal Vacuum Valve - EVAP: Testing and Inspection
Refer to ``EGR System'' for BVSV testing. Swift w/SOHC Engine
1.
Drain cooling system.
2.
Remove ISC valve bracket from intake manifold and remove BVSV from intake manifold.
3.
With BVSV cold (below 113°F), blow into nozzle. Air should come out of filter.
4.
With BVSV warm (above 140°F) in hot water, blow into nozzle. Air should not come out of filter.
5.
If results are not as specified, replace BVSV.
