Cam Ring

Inspect vane sliding surface of cam ring for wear and damage.
Replace P/S pump if either of the above is found.

Rotor Vane

1. Wear and damage of rotor sliding surface against pump body.
2. Wear and damage of vane sliding surface against cam ring.
3. Vane to rotor clearance.

Clearance:

Standard: 0.01 mm (0.0004 inch)
Limit: 0.06 mm (0.0023 inch)

Replace P/S pump if any of the above is found.

Flow Control Valve

1. Wear and damage on outside of valve.
2. Obstruction in connector orifice.
3. Free length of flow control spring.

Length:

Standard: 36.5 mm (1.44 inch)
Limit: 33.5 mm (1.32 inch)

Replace P/S pump if any of the above is found.
