Apply power steering fluid to the relief valve (flow control valve).
21.
Install the relief valve (flow control valve) into the pump body.
22.
Install the flow control spring into the pump body.
23.
Apply power steering fluid to the 0-ring of plug.
24.
Tighten the plug to the specified torque.
Tightening Torque
(c): 43.5 lb-ft (6.0 kg-m, 60 N.m)
25.
Apply power steering fluid to the 0-ring of the suction connector.
26.
Install the 0-ring to the suction connector.
27.
Install the suction connector to the pump body as shown in figure. Tighten the suction connector bolts to the specified torque.
Tightening Torque
(d): 8.5 lb-ft (1.2 kg-m, 12 N.m)
